Checkout as guest

If you are automatically logged into a ShopPay account, please select the "Check Out as a Guest" option. Because the Truemed medical verification process requires a specific integration to validate your HSA/FSA eligibility, it cannot be processed through ShopPay express checkout. This step is essential to ensure your health benefits are applied to your order.

3

Select ‘TrueMed’ at Payment

Once you reach the payment section, select "TrueMed — Pay with HSA/FSA" as your payment method. You will be briefly redirected to a secure portal to answer a few quick questions about your orthopedic and wellness needs.

4

Complete a Brief Health Evaluation

Truemed will guide you through a quick, 2-minute health evaluation. A licensed medical provider will review your responses regarding your orthopedic needs and wellness goals to confirm your eligibility.

5

Complete Checkout through Truemed

We recommend paying with a credit/debit card, and then reimbursing yourself with HSA/FSA funds after checking out for the best chance of success.

6

Receive your Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN)

A licensed medical provider will review your evaluation to ensure your Cosy Island footwear meets clinical standards for your specific health needs.

How does using my HSA/FSA account save me money?

For Cosy Island customers, this means more buying power for footwear engineered to treat, mitigate, and prevent orthopedic strain. Instead of paying for your wellness with post-tax income, qualified customers can use pre-tax funds—essentially saving you an average of 30–40% on every pair.

Here’s what you can contribute each year:

HSA: Up to $4,300 pre-tax for individuals, or $8,550 for families (plus an extra $1,000 if you’re 55 or older).

FSA: Up to $3,300 pre-tax, with an additional $660 allowed in employer-sponsored carryovers (check your specific plan for details).

Put your health dollars to work where they matter most—starting from the ground up.

Frequently Asked Questions

HSA (Health Savings Account) and FSA (Flexible Spending Account) are tax-advantaged accounts that allow you to use pre-tax dollars for eligible health-related expenses. Eligibility and usage rules vary depending on your insurance plan and administrator.

For Cosy Island, TrueMed® guides eligible customers through a brief health survey to assess qualification based on individual needs. After completing the process, you’ll receive clear instructions on how to pay with HSA/FSA funds or request reimbursement.

HSA/FSA eligibility depends on your individual situation and your plan administrator’s rules. Certain Cosy Island products may qualify when purchased for health-related reasons and approved through the TrueMed® eligibility process.

Eligibility is determined during checkout or by completing the TrueMed® survey.

Yes. If eligible, you can use your HSA or FSA card at checkout by selecting TrueMed® as your payment option and completing the required eligibility survey.

Important: Please use Guest Checkout (not Shop Pay), as Shop Pay may prevent HSA/FSA authorization.

If your HSA/FSA balance is insufficient, you can pay the remaining amount using a personal credit or debit card. Split payments are supported.

If your order contains both HSA/FSA-eligible and ineligible items, your HSA/FSA card will be applied only to the eligible portion. Any remaining balance must be paid using another payment method.

This can happen for several reasons, including:

  • Your HSA/FSA plan does not approve the purchase

  • Insufficient funds in your account

  • Temporary authorization issues with your plan administrator

If this occurs, you may try another payment method or contact TrueMed® or your HSA/FSA administrator for more details. You can also complete the TrueMed® survey to request reimbursement if applicable.
