Information
Last Updated: May 6, 2026
At Cosy Island, your privacy matters. If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Iowa, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Texas, Utah or Virginia, applicable privacy laws in your state may give you additional rights to opt out of the sale or sharing of their personal information. This page explains what that means, how we use information for advertising and analytics, and how you can exercise your rights.
1. Understanding "Sale" and "Share"
Cosy Island does not sell your personal information in exchange for money or anything else of value. However, some of the data we use for advertising or analytics may be considered a “sale” or “share” under California law or State Privacy Laws, because it involves sharing identifiers or usage data with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Examples of such data may include:
Device identifiers (such as cookies, IP address, or browser type)
Online activity data (pages viewed, time spent, clicks, or products browsed)
Advertising IDs or similar tracking information
This data helps us understand performance and show you more relevant Cosy Island content and offers.
We do not knowingly sell or share/use for targeted advertising the personal information of minors under the age of sixteen (16).
2. Your Right to Opt Out
You have the right to direct Cosy Island not to sell or share your personal information for targeted advertising or analytics purposes.
You can exercise this right by any of the following methods:
Global Privacy Control (GPC)
Cosy Island honors browser-based Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we will treat it as a valid opt-out request.
By Email or Phone

3. What Happens After You Opt Out
We will stop sharing your personal information for targeted advertising or cross-context behavioral analytics.
You will still see Cosy Island ads, but they may be less relevant to your preferences.
Essential cookies and data used strictly for website operation, fraud prevention, or fulfilling orders will continue to function.
Your opt-out choice applies to the browser and device you use at the time of submission.
If you clear your cookies or use a different browser or device, you'll need to submit your choice again.

Cosy Island does not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes beyond those permitted by law.
5. Authorized Agents

To do so, the agent must provide proof of authorization, such as written consent signed by you. We may also require you to verify your identity directly with us or confirm to us that you provided the agent permission.
6. Non-Discrimination
Cosy Island will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
This means we will not deny services, charge different prices, or provide a different quality of service because you opted out.
