Anatomical Width Engineering refers to how the interior shape and proportions of the shoe are developed around the natural width of the forefoot. It creates more usable space around the toes and front of the foot without simply making the entire shoe wider.
Not necessarily. Anatomical Width Engineering focuses on where interior space is placed within the shoe. Some COSY ISLAND styles may also be available in dedicated wider fits, but the technology itself is about creating more natural forefoot proportions rather than uniformly increasing the width of the entire shoe.
The external silhouette and the usable interior space are not exactly the same. By adjusting the internal width, depth and positioning of the forefoot area, COSY ISLAND can create additional room inside while preserving a more refined pointed shape outside.
We recommend choosing your usual size based on the fit guidance provided for each style rather than automatically sizing up. Moving up a size can change the overall length and heel fit without necessarily creating the right kind of forefoot space.
